Ladies and Gentlemen, 

I would like to thank everyone for participating in the 1^st cornhole tournament hosted by the Wickliffe Italian-American Club. There were obviously some things that did not go smoothly, some due to needing to keep the adjacent bocce tournament moving, that will be rectified in upcoming tournaments. A special thanks to J&R Cornhole Games for providing the playing boards. The winning team was from Cincinnati (Dirt Dogs – Steve Vanderver and Eric Hinderman). 

Changes already made will include:
1.       No wipe-out rules
2.       No ‘win-by-2’ rules
3.       27 feet, instead of 24 will be used
4.       Brackets will include court/time
5.       Coolers will not be permitted (sorry, we can lose our liquor license), but cheap drinks and food will be available.
6.       One-day tournaments! 

Upcoming tournaments:

1.       Sunday, September 21^st – Benefiting John Carroll Alumni Association, includes lunch!
2.       Late November – ACO “Turkey Bowl” Tournament? 

These flyers and others will be distributed when available.  They will also be available on our website (www.wickliffeianda.com), J&R’s website, and www.cornholeparty.com.  Please forward this to anyone who might not have given their email address (Steve and Eric, for example!).  If your group is interested in hosting a tournament at the I&A, please let me know!
